The Influence of Family on the Development of a Child's Personality

The article examines what a family is and what impact it has on the development of a child's personality and psyche. The family is understood as a social group in which the upbringing and education of children, the transmission of cultural norms and values is carried out. It is noted that a supportive, loving and stable family environment can contribute to a child's positive development, self-esteem, adaptation to society and the creation of healthy relationships in the future. In addition, attention is focused on the fact that negative aspects of family relationships, such as conflict, lack of emotional support and instability, can cause difficulties in the mental development of a child, which emphasizes the importance of creating a harmonious atmosphere in the family for the formation of a full-fledged personality. The key role of the family in the child's learning and stimulation is explored. The study used the methods of system analysis and literature review, which made it possible to combine the theoretical approaches of various authors.
